About the Coalition

Our mission is to improve the health of Nevada County families by protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding

We started the Breastfeeding Coalition of Nevada County with this goal in mind: improving the health of our community by removing barriers to breastfeeding in Nevada County. We believe that every parent should feel supported in their infant feeding goals.

Today, the Breastfeeding Coalition of Nevada County is a valuable resource for parents who need breastfeeding help, are interested in reliable information about pregnancy and infant feeding, or would like to participate in local events that promote and support breastfeeding.
